The case that’s challenging bitcoin’s status as payment instrument

Undercover cops recently arrested a Miami Beach man for trying to sell bitcoin for dollars, accusing him of money laundering. The case is testing bitcoin as a payment instrument, what it means to be a money transmitter, and whether it’s ok for individuals to sell their bitcoin.
