Sears Holdings Corp.’s stock tumbled 13% Wednesday morning after the department store owner raised doubts in a filing about its ability to keep operating amid a prolonged swoon in financial performance.

In its annual report released after hours Tuesday, Sears said historical operating results indicate “substantial doubt exists related to the company’s ability to continue as a going concern.”
